Sorry this is so late, everyone. Stuff happened and I kind of lost track a bit. Anyway, here's the Week 3 thread.
People talk a lot about the Week 2 blues in NaNoWriMo, but in December it seems to be week 3 when it gets really challenging. It's the holiday season, so there's loads of family stuff, last-minute work/school stuff, the first few parties, and so on. Sometimes, it's all you can do to get to the computer, never mind have enough time to do some actual work on your writing projects. So, if you write anything at all this week, you're doing fantastically! And, if you don't write anything, it's okay. The people in your life are important, and your story will still be there when you're ready to come back to it.
Also, don't forget that if you're stuck in your story for some reason unrelated to social commitments, you can always ask a question in the 'Writing Chatter' or 'Personal Progress Threads' areas. Or, if you want to start your own writing challenge (word wars, word crawls, a 5k day...) go for it! The 'Challenges, Dares, and Word Wars' section is open to anyone and everyone.
